Activate UAN (Universal Account Number)

UAN stands for Universal Account Number. UAN will act as an umbrella for the multiple Member IDs allotted to an individual by different establishments. This is to link multiple Member Identification Numbers (Member ID) allotted to a single member under single Universal Account Number. This helps the member view details of all the Member Identification Numbers (Member ID) linked to it.

Initially, a member will have to activate UAN by clicking the Activate Your UAN link given on the Member Portal. Member should have UAN, Mobile, and Member ID available to complete the activation on the Member Portal

UAN helps members receive more self service facilities such as:

  • Download/Print Updated member's Passbook anytime.
  • Download/Print member's UAN Card.
  • List all Member IDs to UAN.
  • File and view Transfer Claims.
  • Update KYC information.
